I lived! ... for finals. bummer.

Well I made it through my crazy ass workload of the week. It just sucks my weeks restart on Fridays! They do that since Thursday is my last class for the week and I'd rather work a shitload today than for the entire weekend. But this weekend is lost. I have to get a second opinion on my car [something about the pulleys ...?] and do two finals!

That's right I went from one take home final to two! I mean I'm happy to do that, but she didn't even post the final until midnight last night [it's for my WEDNESDAY class] and I can't OPEN it. Word is like LULZ try again. I emailed my faculty and asked her to send it to me as a PDF. I have no idea why the fuck you'd ever make a test in Word and as a .word.doc extension, but she apparently felt compelled too.

Both of the finals are due on Wednesday by 3pm. I'm hoping to do my Ethics final tomorrow since it's short and all writing and then hopefully by Sunday I'll have my Torts final and can get it done then. It just sort of sucks you know? I have no weekend now. Today I'm focusing on my last final which is on Tuesday night and it's going to be my hardest final! Super lame! Today I'm revising study guides, going through terminology and generally just being a crazy wench. I can't wait until a week from today! It'll be CHRISTMAS BREAK! Yay! All I have to do is order my books then!

OH. I totally didn't tell you the FABULOUS news! I got into all 4 classes that I wanted to be in for Winter term! :D

• Probate Law - a type of civil law I'm considering going into when all is said and done with this certificate! So YAY! Probate law is like executing someone's will as long as the will itself is a valid legal document. I really like this type of law for some reason! I think I'd try to be all cheeky in it though and say that I work for a solicitor and not a lawyer. Cause that's how it rolls in the UK. If only I was in the UK and not in the States. *sigh* solicitor is a waaaaay cooler title ;)
• Techniques of Interview [with my current Torts teach whom I ADORE]
• Legal software - I'm SO happy I got into this class! I was wait listed now I'm totally in the class! YAY!
• Legal Research - This is the hardest class in the entire paralegal program. Seriously. I guess the workload is outrageous! I'm a little terrified and a little excited! I have a big thing for huge workloads [at least I'm BUSY and not BORED right?]

It's going to be an INSANE quarter. I almost decided to take 5 classes this quarter, but I decided that I'd rather do it next quarter when I didn't have legal research on my plate! I'm super excited about my schedule though! I just don't really like the way my week looks:

• Wednesday - techniques of interview
• Thursday - probate law
• Saturday ; ; - 10 am Legal Research ten minute break Legal software

So classes on Saturday and only a tiny 10 minute break to huff my way across campus and EAT something. I'm hoping I'll be able to eat in like Legal Research cause I'm doubting that they want me to be eating around all of the law computers! I'm just bummed that I don't really have a Friday night. These two classes are only offered on Saturdays so I figured I'd rather do them both at the same time to get it over with! I'm hoping since it's like Winter quarter that it wont matter that I have no Fridays. I mean most of my friends hang out Saturday/Sunday anyway so I'm hopeful it'll be ok. If all else fails I just can't drink myself into oblivion and I'll tough it out!
