The last week or so has been good, my uncle took my sister and I out for lunch one day, because we won't see him for ages once we've gone to uni. Lydia's gone already, we took her up on Friday, she had so much stuff that it wouldnt all it in the car.
I've taken to getting up early in the mornings again, which is good, I love mornings, but usually miss them because I also quite like nights.
I went to the pub for lunch yesterday with a couple of my friends, and then we went to the cinema, which was a kind of on-the-spur-of-the-moment thing, so we didn't think it through and ended up seeing a rather rubbish film. Ah well.
I've just discovered one of my friends is going to Africa, her dad has to work over there for 2 years, so shes going with him for at least one. I'm going to miss her, even though we don't live in the same town or county at the moment, and I haven't seen her for a couple of months. We used to be really close, we spent almost every day of last summer together and it was so fun, but inevitably living so far apart we're not quite as close as we used to be, and we had a minor argument or two recently, which although aren't big problems, it makes me feel bad if there's a possibility that I'm never going to see her again. She's still waiting for the uni to reply and et her know if she can postpone the rest of her course, I hope they let her because I know she'll be happy if she goes, but I also secretly want her to stay so that we can spend more time together, because at risk of sounding like a pansy, I'll really miss her.
In other news, one of the girls I used to work with added me as a friend on myspace. It was weird becuase I was just thinking about her, then I refreshed the page and there was a friend request from her. Cool AND a massive coincidence.
Also I FINALLY transfered my bank account to a student account, it should be sorted within a couple of weeks. I also get 10 free CDs of my choice as a reward for doing so. (Could've got an MP4 player, but I already have an iPod so didn't really need that.) I'm terrible for buying CDs, not as bad as some people I know, but I do buy as many as possible whenever I can afford it (and somtimes when I can't), so ten free is the best thing anyone could've given me (other than offering to pay for all the books I'll need for uni!). On the down side though, it means I really have to try hard not to buy any for the next couple of weeks, and there's so many I want!
