I didn't really get a chance to take photos today, so I'm just using some crappy ones I've taken in spare moments to document progress, but they give you a rough idea. As I said in my post yesterday, they're quiet different visually. I'm not as worried about it as I was last night, but what do you think? Would you assume they're all by the same artist?

I still have a fair amount of work to do (obviously). The round piece needs something in the background to break up the solid color and some fine tuning on the finer detail in the hair. The fairytale pice needs some do-dads up front, probably some mushrooms and maybe a centipede or other carrion-loving insects. And the Fenrir piece is still very much in progress. Some of the mountains will have human teeth, those white bits will be pomegranite seeds, I'm changing the wolf mask to another line-work skull (maybe working in the dripping maw, that's quite nice visually), she needs lingere of some sort, and on and on as it builds. I've been focusing on the work as a single entity rather than part of a whole, so I'm not strangling the work by trying to make it fit in with the other two.

And next week is officially busy as hell - with the smARTarts meeting monday, hanging works on tuesday (to allow for the stragglers), making sure everythings spiffy, hanging out with the gorgeous Melody, and the smARTarts opening on wednesday, the vibewire launch and hanging out with the spiffy Gloz on thursday, Keiths party on saturday, recovering on sunday, and seeing my Kasey baby sometime in there as well (hopefully!). Which leaves me with 3 solid days of painting before my deadline.

That's ok. I may subsist on energy drinks and not sleep for those 3 days, but there's something about that deadline induced half hallucinatory state of panic that brings out some of my best (and worst) work.
