ode to the mailman

oh, mr.mailman,
why do you take so long?
i'd be better off to pee in a can,
but instead, i'll write you a song.
im stuck at home,
while my mother is out,
this is better than a poem,
but i still will pout.
i check the road every 5 minutes,
i then run out the door,
to see the mailbox, and check what's in it.
but what i hope for even more,
is that i get a response either way.

and if i should be so stupid to say...
i hope eveyrone will fast at one time on this good friday
