Water, water, everywhere... but alas, not a drop to drink. Even if you're not thirsty, there's nothing you can do but watch the precious glittering liquid loll about in your hands before they slip between your fingers. And even though they leave brief artifacts of their presence, it's not long before those too are gone.
But enough of this vague metaphor. We're going to the springs today. I managed to get up early enough to see the sun come up before packing.
It finally feels like home again.
