We need to find a way just to keep our desire alive

So I just got done with my academic advising appointment not too long ago. Took all of, 8 minutes? It was mostly:

  • So you need PE and Arts and Humanities... Taking two PE next semester and my major is Art
  • Did you take English 100? Fall 2003...it's on my transcript. *She couldn't seem to find it for some reason although it was there clear as day*
  • You're taking a winter class? Yes, Visual Concepts I
  • And what classes do you want to take in the spring?

Relatively quick and painless. Now hopefully when I register [next Friday] none of my classes are full. It's still pretty early so I'm hoping not, but you never know. Classes I'm taking next semester and their schedules:

Class:
Section:
Time:
Description:

CMSC202
0203
MW 5:30 - 6:45
W 11:00 - 11:50 (DIS)
Computer Sciencd 202. So yea, I was taking this course this semester. But I fell behind and dropped it. Here goes attempt number two.

PHED146
0101
TuTh 10:30 - 11:45
Weight Training / Physical Fitness. I needed to take a gym class, and I figure what the hell, a little weight lifting could help out. Plus since it's a spring class, it can help me get in shape for summer. Plus I'm sure it'll have benefits for dodgeball too haha.

PHED133
0401
TuTh 1:00 - 2:15
Walking and Jogging. I need to work on my cardiovascular; it sucks. Again another gym class to take care of my GFR.

ART343
0101
F 2:00 - 4:30
History of Animation. C'mon that just sounds fun. At least it does to me. Maybe I'm a dork. It's a Friday class, I'm either gonna dred it or love it.

ART323
0201
MW 1:00 - 2:15
20th Century Art. Gotta love that art.

PHIL368
0101
MW 2:30 - 3:45
The title of this class is Aesthetics. It's a philosophy class dating from Plato to Kant and everyone in between, and basically their views and interpretations of art, beauty and aesthetics. I have no reason to take this course other than it interests me a lot and I'm eager to see what topics are discussed.

So yeap, that's my schedule. Anyone looking to take some classes [such as PE, come work out with me!] or some interesting classes [like my philosophy class] you should sign up. I swear I'll keep you company if the class is utterly boring. =)

With that done and my last midterm, things feel like they are coming together. I still need to do my portfolio and submit it for review, but I'm beginning to appreciate my own art more, which is quite the surprise, and I feel like with these art courses under my belt and more preparation I'll be ready. Things are finally starting to come together, and I'm happy with my life. All aspects of it. I can honestly say I'm happy with almost every aspect [except for the job part, which I'm gonna deal with tomorrow]. Waking up with a smile on your face consistently is a good feeling. One I haven't had in awhile.
