Uh oh...it's battle time. A fight to the death, a duel, a showdown at high noon.
The death match of the century.
And here are our two combatants:
Old basketball pole, hunched over and armed with tetanus-inducing rust!
** VERSUS **
Me! Rockin the sunglassess and armed with sledgehammer and dyed hair!
It was a long and arduous battle, going on for hours on end. Many blows were exchanged and each combatant came within inches of death many a time. The conflict raged on, seemingly with no end in sight when I was suddenly filled with a surge of energy, driving all my might into one final blow. I knew it would be either the coup de grace for the pole or myself, and I took the gamble...
...and won.
I decided to further reap the treasures of my victory, I added insult to injury and broke the pole down some more, until it was nothing but a pile of metal.
And that's exactly how it happened. Until the next challenger...
Okay so many that's not how it happened. But hey, I can elaborate some, can't I? =P Really it just comes down that my mom's planning on expanding the driveway soon and needed the old pole removed, so I took care of it. Got to have some fun with a sledge hammer =)
