No Limit Hold-em.
Two players left at the table.
This is it: the showdown for the title of
World Poker Champion.
Two players left at the table.
Satan is the chipleader.
God is on the shortstack.
Here comes the deal:
God gets pocket dueces.
That's not the best hand.
Satan gets pocket aces.
That's the best hand you can have.
God checks.
Satan Goes all in.
God calls.
The crowd can't believe it.
They both show their cards.
Satan is happy.
God doesn't seem to mind.
The crowd is shaking their heads.
Here comes the flop:
Two aces, and a king.
Satan gives a shout of exctasy.
God says, "Let's make this interesting;
on the side, I bet my entire kingdom
and all my power."
Satan, laughing, says, "Ha! You've got
Yourself a bet!"
Next card comes:
it's a seven. No help for God.
God says, "Alright, Satan,
if you win, I'll give you My Son."
Satan, smiles, says, "Sounds good!"
The crowd can't believe what is happening:
Satan is going to win!
Next card comes,
but before it hits the table,
the lights go out.
Then, suddenly, they come back on.
After the slight confusion wears off,
God and Satan look at the table.
There are five two's on the table
where once stood the two aces, a king,
and a seven.
The dealer pronounces God the Champion,
The crowd goes crazy,
Satan goes into an outrage.
"THAT'S NOT FAIR!!!" Satan cries in anger.
"Life isn't fair. And besides, I had already
Won even before the first card was dealt,"
God says.

God puts it all on the line for us,
and even when we don't think that
He can win, nothing can beat Him.
We'll never understand how He can
change the cards the way He does,
but He does it, and He does it for us.
