definately my favorite thing i made. i have to make these again they were so good i ate 3 and nearly all the ones i was supposed to give my friends (lucky they were hungover and didnt really want any!)
rice with sweetened coconut milk and mango. I paired this with a sweet and spicy baked tofu salad. I hadnt made this in years so im glad it turned out from memory. Kris messed up half the rice. figures boys cant cook rice.
kous-kous. my moms recipe. it was cute how kris never had it this way, just ate it plain. I didnt know people ate plain kous kous.
I also tried my hand at congee because kris loves it and he was sick, but apparently i made it "too flavorful for congee" and it tasted like pastina. Sorry, I was raised Italian and it cant go away! it was still yummy., and the ginger settled my stomach. im always looking for tummy friendly recipes.
and i made a lovely butternut squash/potatoe soup sunday night. it was probably the best thing ive made (of course because my mother helped me) but i dont have pictures because it didnt look appealing. the beef broth made it turn a brownish yellow, and we should have used chicken stock to make it orange. still greaaaat. next time we are trying caulliflower
