Gosh darn Science
Physiology lab today. Last lab for the semester, it was on thermal regulation and it involved riding an exercise bike with all these clothes on.
I decided to volunteer for it because I like riding. I ended up wearing clothes that were way too small for me; and shaving patches of hair off my chest, forearm, thigh and calf. That wasn't so bad, although I was a little nervous being semi-naked in front of the class... especially since I had to drop the dacks (not undies) to shave my thigh. I did it anyway though, cos I'm no sissy.
Anyway, after doing all this and feeling like a fool... I got to find out that my exercise bike was broken and not even working properly. AAAAAAARGH!
Curse that other guy in the class whose biked actually worked.
I jumped on anyway, and just pedaled at 90 rpm instead of 60 instead... not that my data would be counted.
All in the name of science.
