[ On the other hand, London here tends to sleep with an eye open. Weapon dealer in a world full of bitches trying to kill humans, it's no wonder that a rat tiptoeing on a thick carpet could wake him up.
A girl stealing his blankets is just as offensive.
So, in his (not very) gentlemanly fashion, London reaches back, to the covers, wraps his fingers around it and tugs them away from Remy, only to wrap himself up in that beautiful duvet. Aah, comfortable. ]
[ That tugging, of course, just ends up bringing Remy with the blankets and that's more than enough to startle her awake. She sits up quickly, still half-asleep and more than a little dazed despite how wide her eyes are, and looks around. When her eyes settle on the guy next to her, though, panic sets in. ]
You have got to be kidding me. [ She snatches a pillow to cover herself up with even though she's wearing a tank top and a pair of shorts, though they are a tad on the small side. (She likes being comfortable, okay? Long sleeves and pant legs are the exact opposite.) ] No. No, no, no, no, no. This can't be happening.
[ And from his corner, London sighs in annoyance at the brusque movements of Remy that are accompanied by her voice. It makes it a little hard to sleep when someone on your bed is moving around like an Energizer bunny. ]
Girl, you best stop moving around so much and sit down. [ He doesn't even bother looking at her. ] Or I'mma slap you. [ What a gentleman. ]
[ Remy freezes as soon as she hears his voice, more out of surprise than anything. Of course, how she assumed anyone could sleep through her freaking out is kind of ridiculous, but whatever. ]
Did you seriously just threaten to hit me? [ Slap, hit; it's all the same to her. ] What kind of person does that?
