[ For once in her life, Michi chooses a quiet bar, one that opens out onto the street, down a quiet side line. After a brief argument with the bartender about the whether Michi's ID was real or not, she seated herself at a small round table with a mojito and she hasn't moved since, in a distinct state of moping. Things haven't been fun lately, just weird. This means that either she needs to change things up and rob a bank (or perhaps somewhere more exciting), or she really need to get some friends. Either way, she suspects neither of these things will probably be achieved in this lonely little bar. ]

[ Maude tends to hop from bar to bar a lot. Sure, her favourite one is that dinky Irish pub, especially because the old man that doesn't talk - possibly because he's mute - lets her take the stage and play a few tunes, but right now, she has ended up in this one. She spotted Michi already but first she's picking a beer, and only then does she slide onto the seat next to the tiny girl. ]

Heeeyyy. [ Ruffling her hair. ] What's up with that mopey face?

[ Michi is completely caught off guard by Maude's sudden appearance, scrunching up her face and shaking her head a little post-ruffling, grinning brightly in response. She's rather glad to see a nice and familiar face for once :[ ]

I ain't mopin'! Just thinkin', I guess.

You are totally moping.

[ She sips her cold beer and leans back a bit, pulling the guitar case from her shoulder and setting it on the floor, between her legs to keep it safe. ]

Thinking always implies moping. That's why I do very little thinking. [ A wink. ]

Yeah, I kinda noticed when I saw ya skinny dippin' with drinks in both hands. Definitely not much thinkin' goin' on there. [ Her expression is impish, and she maintains her cheerier tone as she goes on, shrugging lightly and taking a sip of her drink. ] I just kinda... I'm kinda bored. I ain't been doin' anythin' fun lately. And I've met a whole load of total dicks too. That ain't cool.

[ Well "a whole load" is more like two, but hey. ]

Hey, hey. [ She holds her hands up, as if saying 'hold on'. ] That's an everyday thing to me, naked and drinking.

[ She winks, as if trying to lighten the mood.

Mouthing a "ah", Maude turns to the drink and takes a large gulp of the beer, shrugging a bit. ]

You can't wait for shit to come to you, you know? You have to, like, be proactive. Or something.
