[ You know that conveyer belt before the big bouncy balls? Teagan is kind of using it as a treadmill. Her arms are folded across her chest, her eyebrows very much raised. At least this is good exercise! She's keeping quite a good powerwalking pace on this thing.
Because hell no, she is not doing this. There is a line and it has just been crossed. ]
[ As unmanly as the yelling is, Teagan still recognises that voice. ]
Jeremy?! [ She whips around - which, in hindsight, won't be the best idea in the world - so fast that the combination of movement with the conveyer belt makes her stumble over her own feet. She was never too far away from the edge... well, it's jump or fall.
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMmmmmm fall and splash, in this case. ]
[ CANADA SUCKS WE'RE MOVING TO THE UK AND THAT'S FINAL ]
[ Teagan rolls around uselessly in the water, waving her arms about and splashing stupidly until she grabs hold of something that feels human and could be a wrist or an ankle IT'S HARD TO TELL OKAY ]
[ Now that Teagan has an overly tight grip on Jeremy, she tries to relax a little, the flailing and rolling and splashing toning down somewhat as she starts treading water, peering at Jeremy through strands of hair now clinging to her face everywhere. ]
... now what? [ She can't help but smile a little, incredulously, just because all other facial expressions completely fail her. ] Hello, by the way.
Yeah, okay- I'm good with that, it sounds like a p-plan. [ The stammer in Teagan's voice arises only out of the fact that her teeth are chattering somewhat, and she gives Jeremy's hand an encouraging squeeze. ] There must be a l-l-ladder here somewhere... something that c-can get out of the water, at least.
Okay. [He nods and tries to lead them to a lower platform, inhaling through his nose and exhaling quickly from his mouth. This process happens very, very slowly, people screaming and splashing in the water from every direction.]
[ Teagan is quite happy to let him lead for the moment, paddling along after him a little pathetically. A voice in her head keeps going, over and over, "please don't let go, oh god, please don't let him let go of my hand", as if she expects to sink like a rock without him to hold onto. As much as Teagan appreciates water and shallow streams, actually swimming is another matter entirely. ]
G-god, at least we're n-n-not the only ones struggling, from the sounds of it...
I'm not sure if that's very comforting... [and a moment after that, Jeremy's hand rests against some of that squishy...thing...that people can climb onto. He uses his strength to pull Teagan closer to him, helping her get out of the water first.]
Might as well be in c-collective misery, if you ask m-me...
[ Clambering inelegantly onto the platform, Teagan murmurs a slightly breathless thank you to Jeremy, immediately holding out her hands to help him up also. ]
he waits for her to feel stable, hesitating a moment before he finally gives her his hand, maybe a bit guilty and afraid he'll just end up dragging her back into the water accidentally. SILLY JEREMY, SHE'S STRONGER THAN TEN OF YOU TOGETHER.]
Because hell no, she is not doing this. There is a line and it has just been crossed. ]

H-hi. [he gasps between words, free arm swaying around to keep him at surface.] We should... try to find something to grab onto.
