This is a slightly AU Winry following the 'what if' Winry accepted Ling's proposal?
It follows the manga up until the very end with Ling and Winry having had some chances to get to know each other more. Before returning to Xing with the Philosopher's Stone, Ling proposes to Winry one last time and she agrees to marry, but asks him to wait for her since she want's to help with Al's recovery and become a more prominent figure in Amestris.
Instead of waiting for their return after the battle in Central, Winry traveled there to help with all those who had been injured and to help with Al's PT. When Ed left for Creta, and Al for Xing Winry remained for a little while longer as a doctor for the military as they continued to round of the remaining insurgents from the battle on the Promised Day. It was only after two years that Winry finally traveled east to Xing and married Ling.
