So I have been asking around, trying to find someone to explain to me why not to vote for Bobby Jindal in the coming gubernatorial elections.
As I am politically dumb (but I do love the drama!), liberal, and tend to like to vote democratic (and Bobby J is a republican), but it doesn't really sound like it's a contest; him vs. some other dudes
ANYWAYS, I finally got the answer I was looking for: to make a run-off election, because after a run-off, it will be a whole different election.
Now I just have to figure out which of the other dudes to vote for. I just wish Bobby J's opponents would either leave literature on my porch making it look appealing to vote for them, or not leave any at all. (as opposed to the crap I find on the porch).
Well, it's more specific than that. It's either Georges or Campbell. I guess Georges because he's the most likely candidate to go into a run-off, or Campbell because apparently he has some good ideas. Like to tax oil companies for money for coastal restoration http://fostercampbell.com/campbell_plan.html
