Oh, it's nothing that bad, I think. I'm a very sickly person, so for my own health I just never went outside!

Except on my front porch once in a while, but we lived in the city so the opportunity to see flowers and things was small.

That's very bad, in fact. Never going outdoors will only make disease worse, humans are made to thrive among fresh air and warm sunlight.

My parents are simply worried about me. I can't blame them for that. I'm not angry at them in the slightest.

Besides, being inside all the time gave me more time to read!

Now that you're here, you can get into the habit of reading outdoors instead. It's much more enjoyable, trust me.
