[Xia's response is slow in coming - she's not used to this...typing thing, but she's enough of a perfectionist to make sure it looks grammatically correct.]

Is this something that happens often?

Strange things happen often enough, but this particular one isn't common.

What other sort of strange things?

Non-humans turn human often. Not so long ago a number of people got chained to their beds and a number of others were forced to tell the truth.

Occasionally its dangerous, but often its just...weird.

What do you mean by non humans?

People who aren't human. Stick around long enough and you can't miss them.

Dragons?

[One of the only non human things she can think of.]

I don't think we have any dragons, but the turtles are close. Elves seem the most popular non-human species.

[There is a distinct pause before she responds.]

Turtles and elves. [How...interesting.]

You get used to it.

[She's not 100% on that, but he seems like a nice boy, so.]

Is there anything else I should know?

I don't know how much you've already been told, but this has most of what we know. The man who posted that is gone, so if you have any questions you'll have to ask me or someone else.

[A significant pause while she reads this. That is a lot to take in.]

How does one leave? [She knows it says there is no escape, yet directly below it, one can leave as quickly as they arrive. She doesn't understand that.]

We don't know that. It may be the Captain getting rid of people, or they may find a way out. If they find a way out, they're unable to tell anyone else.

Most of us believe the Captain gets rid of them.

Getting rid of them? What do you mean?

Sends them away *or something.* But that's one of the things we can't be certain how or why it happens. We just know that it does.
