Dear Yuletide Writer,
Hello my new favorite person! First of all, let me start by saying thank you. I am so excited to receive a story in whichever one of these fandoms we matched on and I am absolutely certain that I will love it and you for giving it to me. Thank you. I can't say that enough.
Before we talk about my specific requests, I just want to mention my general likes/dislikes.
Likes: awesome ladies, making out, porn when appropriate, hurt/comfort, road trips, banter, best friends falling in love, babyfic (although I don't think that'll apply here), het and gen, spies, um, I'm running out of specific things to list. If you want to get a better idea for what I like enough to write, you can find my own fic at earwigfic. It's fairly representative of my likes, I think. Or, alternately, this is my delicious account, so you can see what I've liked enough to bookmark.
Things I am ambivalent about: slash. If you read any of this and really want to write slash, that's cool. I don't dislike it, I'm just really picky about reading it. But if it is what calls to you and you think that's the best possible story you can write, go for it.
Dislikes: Non-con, misogyny, character bashing.

Fandom: Secret History of the Pink Carnation (series)
Characters: Jane Wooliston, Augustus Whittlesby, Jack Reid, Sebastian Vaughn
Request: Okay, I'm sorry to be so specific, but what I want more than anything is a five (or three) times fic that shows Jane's future if she'd ended up with with each of these men. So sort of "x number of men that Jane might have fallen in love with and one that she did," if you will. Or something. If that doesn't work for you, I would gladly take Jane stopping a French plot with assists from any (or all) of the men, because I dearly love her working relationship with every single one of them. Guest appearances by Miss Gwen or Geoffrey Pinchingdale-Snipe (as another potential future?) or any of the rest of the cast of characters are also welcome.
First, let me apologize again for the specificity of this request. I know it's gross and that people don't necessarily want specific requests, but this story idea has lived in my head for over a year now and I really want to read it. For my own sake, I had to throw it out there as a possibility in case you thought that would be something that would be fun to write. If it's not, if you want to completely ignore it and write me an adventure where Jane foils the French with the aid of any or all of the gentleman listed, I will be completely okay with that. I mostly just want fic that I haven't written to exist. Because this is an awesome universe with awesome characters and it deserves fic.

Characters:. Amy Haskell, Jamie Orcutt, Malcolm Cabot
Request: Malcolm on Jamie and Amy's relationship. I really don't care how this is accomplished, through a fight between Jamie and Amy where they want him to play mediator, a return trip to Cavador Key, lots of teasing, whatever your heart desires. I just want lots of "I told you so's" and "this is why you should have listened to me" and the like.
Honestly, this is pretty accurate. When I read the books, I spent a lot of time imagining Malcolm banging his head against the wall as his two friends fumbled their way into a relationship. If he hadn't already gone off to Alaska, I feel like he probably would have immediately booked a ticket. So whatever you want to do here is more than fine with me.

Characters: Katarina Bishop, W.W. Hale the Fifth
Request: Let me put this in the simplest terms possible: all I want is fic where Kat and Hale makeout. Repeatedly. Or at all. I'm not going to be picky about this. I want lips touching and I don't care at all how it happens, just that it does.
I don't think I could have been more clear about what I want here if I'd tried. I hope it's not in a bad way, though? Because here's the thing. I love these books. I think they are adorable and fun and everything about them is aces but the lack of kissing. There should be kissing. RECIPROCAL kissing. Because in all fairness, there was kissing in Uncommon Criminals. Just not enough and not of the right kind. Anyone else you would want to include from the books is a-okay with me. I am particularly fond of Simon and Gabrielle and in my head they are totally going to hook up at some point, but I seem to be mostly alone in that opinion. But anyway. Kissing. That's it.

Characters: Amanda Clarke, Daniel Grayson
Request: The fic I want most is an AU where Amanda gets taken in by the Graysons and she and Daniel are raised together and fall for each other. Barring that, I'd really just love anything with them that shows that it's not all a scam. Or whatever works for you. I just want fic.
Since the internet has not yet seen fit as to have Revenge be an actual fandom, I turn to Yuletide in hopes that it might jump start one. I am basically into Amanda/all the boys, but I think my current favorite is Daniel/Amanda, hence the characters listed. Now, my request is an AU that I desperately want, but I won't be upset at all if you choose to go in a different direction. I know it's a pretty random thing. I'm especially interested in where the fault lines are in Amanda, how much of what she pretends to feel as Emily is actually real and how much of her has actually become Emily, etc. Anything you want to do here, seriously.
