Two weeks later...
I just realized that I haven't posted in two weeks, so I should probably do a brief recap. Unfortunately, everything sort of runs together, so we'll see...
There were LANs, like always. Lisa even had one while the guys were off backpacking. There were some network issues, but it was still fun. Movie at my house last Wednesday, followed by Connor's "surprise" going away party that night. In other words, only a surprise for his mom so we could get him to go. She's really strict on letting him stay out, which kind of stinks. At this surprise party we had fun with Mentos and Diet Coke as well as watched the Incredibles.
Alright, on to more recent times where I can actually remember things.
Saturday was a LAN at Johnny R's. A whole lot of AoE. I was basically taken out early in the first two games by Robby and then Johnny R. The last was a com-stomp, so I was able to help a bit more. Need to work on getting more villagers early on and establishing a solid economy. Advancing faster would also be good...
Sunday I went to George House and played LOTR Risk with Sam, Cody, and Travis. My original position kind of stunk, but I was able to get the Rhovanion bonus for one turn, which apparently never happens. I did have a pretty large army, so not too bad for my first time. Of course we had to quit before anyone actually won, but it was still fun.
Monday was a LAN at Robby's. We played America's Army, after Chris spent forever downloading it while Allen and I got it off the flash drive pretty easily. Heh. I'm not a huge fan of the game, but it's okay.
Last night nothing was going on, though tonight there's mention of another LAN. We shall see. That's it for now, such a long entry for two weeks, yeah right.
