She returns...
Wow. It's been a while. I guess I've just been too busy to write the normal entries. Of course that means that you don't have to sit through little details, so I suppose that's not all a bad thing. Basically just lots going on. Grad parties, movie nights, LANs, college stuff, etc. My LAN went off pretty nicely. Not that many people, we could have fit a lot more, but oh well. I now have a good reputation as having a house suited to LANs since one room in my basement is big and cool (to counter over-heating computers). Everyone apparently likes the TV in the other room for movies too. I suppose I should host another movie night sometime. There was supposed to be one tonight somewhere, so I hope they found a spot. I was busy ordering my laptop. Yes, I'm finally getting a laptop. It should be pretty well suited to gaming too, so I can bring it to LANs, yay! I'll actually be able to play. But I must wait two weeks...*sigh*
Well, what's happened since my last entry? I went to Chicago with my Girl Scout troop. Just a piece of advice, if you're going to travel, go with friends or family, not scouts. Most of the girls are nothing like me, so it wasn't quite as much fun. Also, never go anywhere on a train. Yes, I already knew this and it's common sense, but I'm restating it. The train was two hours late leaving and an hour late getting back in. Fun, fun... I got some fun Japanese card prints at the Art Institute. They are now decorating my room and will hopefully move to the dorm with me.
Also had my birthday over this time interval. Got a pack of blank CDs, a book, two CDs, and three CDs and a movie are being shipped. Let me know if you're a Snow Patrol, Hoobastank, or Lostprophets fan. Got a mousepad and a dry erase board from Sam today. He knows me too well... The mousepad has the Japanese character for peace and the dry erase board is for organizing, heh. Am I that easy to figure out? Lol.
I think those are the only major things, though I'm probably forgetting something or another. I shall try to be better about updating, but we'll see. I do more stuff on Facebook now. So if you want to contact me, try there first.
