Personality: At a first glance, Shiori is a cheerful, bubbly and all around helpful girl. She always extends her assistance out to those who need it, and an ear to listen to. Ever since she was a little girl, and able to understand her power to see the afterimages from things, she believed that the power she received was a gift from God himself, and so she thought that was a way she could help others who needed it.
However, when Naruse Ryou walked into her life, she started to care for him a bit more than she would anyone else, due to sensing a deep sadness within him. This is what drove Shiori to want to be friends with Naruse and to try to get to know him so that he wouldn't hurt anymore. Unfortunately, when she got closer to Naruse, he pushed her away, and when she got entangled up in his elaborate revenge scheme, she started to doubt in her powers, and thought for some time that her powers were given to her by Satan. She even went on to say that she thought she was being used by the devil.
Although, even with this, she refused to give up on helping others when they needed it, and even more stubborn when it came to Naruse, even though he kept on either avoiding her, making up excuses, or just generally being cold to her. She continued to help the police in figuring out who Amano Makoto was by piecing together the clues he left them with her power, and revealing clues as to what happened in the various cases that Naoto worked on.
Yet, when it came to Naruse, Shiori knew that she had to save him from damning himself further, and in a bold and daring move, she asked if she could be Naruse's angel, which completely floored him. It's said that Shiori is the one who melted Naruse's cold heart, and made him recognize his feelings, something that he didn't care for before. All in all, Shiori is a very caring, selfless and genuine individual who just wants to help in her own little way, even if she is, sadly, being thrown away when she tries to help Naruse out in any way possible.
What your character can offer: Shiori can see afterimages from objects, which has helped out Naoto on his cases, as well as interpret tarot cards and their meanings. She also works in a coffee shop, and therefore can make really delicious coffee (according to Naruse) and food, due to working in a coffee shop.
What items will they be bringing with them? Nothing but the clothes on her back, cell phone, a little bit of coffee grounds from her coffee shop, as well as her deck of tarot cards.
Third-Person Sample: It was the beginning of a brand new day, and one Sakita Shiori was waking up, yawning slightly. She threw the covers off of her, shaking her head and then standing up. She went to go take a shower to begin her day, and then when that was done, she decided to pick out a nice, flowy t-shirt with a pair of pants. After she finished making her bed and getting ready for the day ahead, Shiori walked downstairs with a little skip in her step. Saying good morning to her friend, she went over to the table where tarot cards were strewn out.
Outstretching her hand, Shiori carefully picked a tarot card out of the bunch, recognizing it immediately as the Page of Wands. Continuing to smile, Eri walked up and smiled too.
"The Page of Wands, huh? It suits you perfectly, Shiori!" She giggled, in which Shiori laughed along with her, nodding.
"It really does!" Shiori agreed, smiling wide. She placed the card down, turning around to get ready for her shift and the customers waiting to get a delicious cup of coffee, or whatever they wanted. Although, her mind focused a little on Naruse and idly wondering how he was doing. She knew he was a fairly busy and very important man, due to being called the Angelic Lawyer by the press, but maybe later she could ask if he wanted to hang out with her? It never hurt to try, at least! But then again, Shiori could have guessed that he would make up another excuse, like that work was occupying all of his time, or that he had an important case to attend to, but she had to try! Maybe all Naruse really needed was some break time and to actually have fun for a change.
Though, what would Naruse like to do? That's what made it so hard was figuring out what he enjoyed doing. Besides work, that is. That was pretty much evident, but hmm... perhaps that upcoming fireworks festival. Maybe that was the one! Who didn't like watching the fireworks and feeling like a little kid again? Letting a small giggle escape, Shiori shook her head before she was caught daydreaming on the job, and further teased by her sister about Naruse for the millionth time. Though, she'd think of something soon for the two of them to do. After all, being cooped up all the time wasn't healthy for anyone, and they should have some fun in life!
Keeping that idea in her head, Shiori waited for the first customer to arrive to start the day. Who knows, perhaps either Naruse or Naoto would stop by for some conversation, or help. She could only hope!

--"Use this"? Did Amano leave this for me? [ She tries to see any afterimages from the strange device she was left with, but a gasp later, she sounds startled. ]
I-I can't-! [ The feed goes quiet after a while where there's nothing but static. Shiori's looking around, seeing that this clearly isn't Japan, and well... with being stuck in an unfamiliar location... yeah, she's not taking this well. ]
.......N-Naruse? Detective? E-Eri? Are you here? Mm, where am I?
