itchy ears

I probably shouldn't start with itchy ears seeing as it's been since Eileen's birthday that I updated.
Since then a lot of stuff has happened...like mid-terms.
I also embarked on the much awaited trip to visit friend liz and sister laura in Paris/switzerland. It was great and fun and all that it should have been. I got over my jet lag pretty quickly on the way over. I met liz's host family (I stayed with them), which was both awkward and awesome. My time with liz was essentially dictated by our meals...curry for lunch here, coffee and tart at this cute place, big salads for dinner in montmartre etc etc. It was GREAT. I did do some 'splorin' on my own when liz was in class, spending some quality time avoiding italian school groups in the orsay. I do love that museum.
The train ride to switzerland was beautiful. French country side is so green and the villages so clustered. Closer to switzerland it goes through steep mountains on each side--pretty dramatic. At one point it was snowing. But also the sun was shining brightly. breathtaking. I love trains.
Switzerland was exactly as it should have been. Laura's apartment is SO cute and beautiful (I'll post pictures later if i come to it). I miss her so much. I don't realize it until I see her, but then I just dont' want to leave. *sigh*
My trip was so lovely (and long...I took three extra days on break) but coming back is hard. I was so behind in my work when i left and am not now any more caught up. I just have som much to do, but i want school to be over.
I just want to be home in Brattleboro. Then I want to be in europe.
I spose I have all of next year to do that.
Which is a whole other thing to contamplate.
ugh.
I have to do laundry now.
