(no subject)
ok so im back at school...its boring, well most of it anyways.
i apologize for not being able to see everyone when i was home or hang out more, but i had to go to cali in the middle and the last week i was basically under house arrest. my mom wouldn't let go anywhere until i'd finished my work, which i still havent finished.
anyways...
first day back i have house prefect training. i get back at like 12:30 and i have training at 2:20. lotsa time to unpack and organize i know.
second night back, i have to go on an english trip to London to go see The House of Bernarda Alba at the National. Yea, really needed that prep time.
third day back: in history I learned that Pope Benedict XVI was once in the Hitler Youth. yea...shocking. but then i learned that it was because he was forced to be.
in ccf, we completed our first command task. SO MUCH FUN!!!!! its like those games everyone played in kindergarten where you had to get across the room/playground without touching the ground because there was lava there. except now the lava's turned into a mine field and a raging river, and we have to get 9 of us down about 10 yds. and then across the river (5ft) and then over to the hut which is another 5 yds. so there were 9 people, 6 oil drums, bunches of little gas cans, 2 planks and 1 ladder. definitely the most challenging thing i've done in a really long while, especially since 1/2 the stuff couldn't touch the ground b/c it wasn't special 'mine-resistant metal'. and next week we get to do one blindfolded. YES!!
gap year fair today. trying to figure out if i should drop to math studies. means i have 1 less free on week b so 2 buut one more on week a which makes that 8. but it also gives me a better chance of getting a 6 or 7 instead of a 4 (hopefully) in methods. no idea what to do.
