Hi Nerds and Nerd-ettes,
Right.. so.. this is a little sudden we know, not very often do we get to experience to wrenching feeling of being caressed with a cold, rusty spoon.. we know.. but now, you have the chance.
Yes, we have been getting quite a few resumes through the door, where we have pretty much said that we weren’t looking for anyone.. but, as Mr Dylan once claimed, Times are a changing, and we need a full-timer. So.. if any of you out there are still interested, drop by your resume once again, and we will do our best in looking through all of them.
We need.. yes.. we need from you. We need you to be mature, responsible and have cash-handling experience. You will be working with a small ‘family’ of Monkeys here at Empire, but, you must still have the ability and the will to take initiative when work needs to be done. No.. we do not just read comics all day.. We bloody wish we did. But no.
You will be dealing with customers, sometimes a big swarm of them, sometimes they will be invisible.
You will be carrying heavy boxes with books and stock which means that you will also take part in receiving the stock which is delivered.
You will be cleaning toilets, bathrooms, dusting and cleaning figures, topping up our shiny stock and various other shop duties.
As said above, you MUST be mature AND have cash-handling experience. Mostly we do however seek someone fun with a bit of zazzzzzz, but can work hard and doesn’t require attention or prodding all the time.
If you are seriously up for it, I encourage you to drop by with a CV, also including WHY you would be so absolutely awesome for Empire Toys, WHAT you can offer, and WHAT you want from us in a workplace. WHY are YOU so different from the rest.. hmm?
Your hours will be Tuesday - Thursday from 9.30am- 5.30pm, Fridays from 10am- 6pm and Saturdays from 9.30am- 5pm. This means you will have every Sunday and Monday as your ‘weekend’.
We are serious people. Is it safe?
