Sunny Saturday

I'm feeling better! Can you believe it, reader-san, I actually feel good. I've gone through a record 8 classes without crying at all, I've been tired but pleasant, and I'm performing at Second City tommorow night (7:30 in the Skybox, if you're hungry to hear me with a russian accent)

As if the show itself wasn't exciting enough, my cousin Ali, attending a Michigan grad school, is driving to Chicago with her boyfriend tommorow, to spend a night in my city and see opening night! Ali is the daughter of my godfather and one of the cutest girls imaginable. She went with Robyn and I to the tattoo parlor the day I got home for Ashley's funeral, and got the same tattoo on her wrist (a copy of the star Ashley had on her back, and 'ashley' written below...I'm sure if you know me personally you've seen it, and if you don't know me well, you probably asked if my girlfriend's name was Ashley. Awkward.) In any case, I'm very excited to see her and show her the town. I will also be judging her boyfriend and mentally mixing their features to judge possible offspring. I positively insist that my godsister have adorable children.

AND, after English Lit this afternoon, I'll shake off the dust of incomplete manuscripts and meet Sara for cocoa. Sara went to my high school, and since Willamette seems unaware that Illinois is not a foreign coutry, is here for study abroad. I admit, Oregon and Chicago are different, however I'm pretty certain we're both in the Union. Not that I'm complaining...but that's not study abroad.

Watching last season's OC in the dorm room of sweet and very gay english man, while trying hard not to ruin the Marisa-and-crazy-boy-who-pulls-a-gun storyline, that's study abroad.
