that's it, I quit
I am not going back to work anymore. Everything always happens when I am there. Yesterday, I had the VP and the COO of my company on their knees crawling into my coolers to check product dates. They were in there for a good 20 min. I also had to suspend one of my girls cuz she cannot manage to get to work on time. And I felt like a total ass having to do it...she is a single mother of 4. Plus, I have a chick that works in my kitchen that loves to start rumors and trouble. She started it yesterday and almost had another girl crying today.
And today? Oh that was the best. When I got back from my morning break, there was a guy I've never seen in my cooler. So I go to figure out what he wants and he is an inspector for the Department of Agriculture. Yippee! We had a complaint of food borne illness. The complainant said she had purchased a brand of turkey that we don't even carry and that is what made her sick. The inspector was actually really cool but I still had to spend about half an hour wandering the department with him, explaining everything we do.
We also got our new assistant today. She has no clue about anything. The place she came from does everything half assed and wrong. So there went another two hours trying to get her on track with us. She seems like a princess but we'll see.
I had to call in people cuz another one of my girls had her appendix out. And then tonight's closer went home sick. And yeah, alright I didn't treat her all that nicely. And yeah, she did cry...my annoyance wasn't directed at her, she just kinda got it.
