It's the solution to all your problems; it's called ammonium oxalate and it's in the fume hood

Somehow I am proud of making this one up since only about half the people who hear it cringe and begin crying. The rest actually laugh. Oh, I hate the fact I make bad puns based on the stuff around me. Makes me feel so dirty.

So what do you get when you combine two urea molecules? DIUREA! (Yes yes obviously we played with urea)
I have two cameras with me, so I need a pair a'film (It's not my fault the stuff is called Parafilm)

So, 8/10 on the first chemistry experiment is merely OK and the lowest mark I'd accept without severe bitching. The statistics test was absolutely hilarious because it was so damn easy. One mark for adding together 3 numbers? Fine. Two marks for multiplying that number by 100? Oh gosh, this is beginning to insult my intelligence. As I've said before: I've completed harder blood tests (What? Negative for HIV again? Damnit!). The inorganic chemistry midterm today was pretty OK, though I know I did not ace it. A solid 90 would be nice, but it's more likely to be in the 80's. I resent that. Boo to high standards and laziness.

I just learned today that there's a nasty analytical chemistry midterm on Monday, followed by psychology on Tuesday. However organic chemistry is next Friday, so that's mostly out of the picture. I guess all in all there's not a lot to worry about, and the Fall season of midterms is probably going to proceed smoothly if I put a bit of effort into it. Yeah but I have a shiny legit boxed copy of F.E.A.R. with me so there are absolutely no guarantees of me studying (I am disappointed from playing the demo of Age of Empires 3 and not too enthusiastic about Quake 4. However, Dawn of War: Winter Assault is a lot of fun, but the gamer in me wants Starcraft 2 if it ever comes). Ah well, everything's still going pretty OK and I'm almost impressed at how good the term's been to me.

Bah to the time of Chem 254, bah! Otherwise it sounds pretty neat, with the whole flow of energy and such regarding entropy, enthalpy, and all that jazz. Biol 273 should be good. Chem 233 is the first time I get to learn what my major really is. Chem 265 is more of the same. Chem 265L is my first organic chemistry lab and I hope it's not as vile as the analytical chem lab. Speaking about that, Chem 224L looks absolutely brutal with the whole 6 hours of lab per week deal. Soc 101 is my free elective bird course, and I think I'll need it.

It's a pity that many of my science friends are leaving for co-op next term. Just when I was starting to get to know them better.
