(no subject)
I am SHATTERED.
started my role as a leader on the summer schoold programme yesterday.
I simply cannot deal with getting up this early though.
but the kids are great.
perhaps because they're not kids, in fact most of them have passed that awkward teenage phase too and are around 16/17. they're pretty cool.
except they keep disappearing.
and they are all called either grace or Elaine, which can be viewed as both a good and a bad thing - on the one hand I'm crap at names so this is good, on the other it means I call everyone (even the three boys in my group) one of the two names. this is not good.
in fact the only name that I get right all the time is the gayer in the group - a younger more indie version of myself (adam). it's cool to watch them (gays) at that age - he even has two hags already - the cool type that are into social justice and dressing in dark colours.
pretty nifty.
oh funny thing - I was sitting on the steps of the dining hall with them when Ruth came over - naturally I kissed her on the cheek.
Now they think she's my g/friend!
young people can be SOOOOOOOOO naive!
strangely just learned my name features on the college calendar
gonna go to Jayne's now - her and Col have medical studenty type exams on fri and need a guinea pig to practise on - why is it always me.......
