TL;DR
Hello, I’m Halle, 21, and looking for Marvel roleplays. I write for Loki and I’m looking to write with pretty much any other character in the Marvel universe, but especially Gamora, Peter Parker, Stephen Strange, or Tony Stark. I write posts 400-1000 words and am looking for someone who can match that, but I’m very patient when it comes to waiting for posts. About Me
Hello, I'm Halle, 21, he/him and they/them pronouns, and I live for Marvel roleplays. I live in GMT, but I'm open to writing with anyone, anywhere. I've been roleplaying for nine years now, and I've been writing for the Marvel verse for six. I have decent comic knowledge, but I mainly roleplay within the MCU, often with comic inspiration. If you’ve never so much as picked up a comic book, no worries. I like to think I’m good at explaining things.
I tend to write between 400 to 1200 words per post, depending on the pace of the roleplay and my partner's preferences. The length of the post generally dictates how quickly I can reply. With this in mind, I am a bit strict on my minimum word count--if you’re going to give me 200 words when I give you 500, please don’t message me. I don’t mean to be a stickler, but that’s happened far too many times and it just makes me feel like I’m wasting my time with a storyline I actually care about. I’m looking for writers who are comfortable with posts of longer lengths.
I am extremely ditch-friendly and I don’t at all mind waiting for posts, even for weeks. I’m very patient and I understand that life comes first and that roleplaying is, for most, meant to be a fun pastime. This being said, if you do feel your muse running out, please let me know and we can tweak the plot, start from scratch, or stop writing altogether. I love finding long-term partners I can write with for months, even years, and explore multiple plots with.
Who I Play
I love writing for Loki. I’ve been playing him for a solid six years now and I’ve done a lot of research and reading to explore him as much as I can, and I’ve loved every moment of it. I’m happy to provide writing samples if desired, as I know there are a lot of Lokis out there. Please know that I don’t double, since I have no OCs other than a very snarky magpie. I adore writing side characters, though, so if we’re writing together, there will be cameos on cameos on cameos.
Who I'm Looking For
I'm on the hunt for long-term roleplay partners who can write upwards or around 400-1000 words per post and can help brainstorm throughout the roleplay.
I'm happy to roleplay with individuals who are under 18, but that would mean no smut, if things come to that. I prefer not to have the roleplay focus on smut, as I've found they die off quickly afterwards, but we can discuss more boundaries with that kind of thing if it comes up.
My goal when I write is to create compelling plots and to explore the intricate and interesting relationships between characters. In terms of characters I'm looking for, I'm open to anything! Other canon characters, rare pairs, OCs, crossovers, etc. I’ll give a list of the characters I’m looking for in just a second. Romance isn’t the end goal I like to pursue, because Loki is a hot goddamn mess, but if it emerges, all the better.
I’m currently looking to write with Tony, Steve, Jane Foster as Thor, Peter (Quill or Parker), or Gamora. These relationships, with the exception of Loki and Peter, could be romantic. Those in bold are the ones I really want to work with.
Plotlines I’m Interested In
Currently, the plots I’m most interested in are anything to do with Loki and whoever other character(s) stuck in the Soul Stone as a result of that horrid snap, or Loki and whoever other character(s) working before that horrid snap to get the infinity stones (probably long before Thanos’s appearance, but we can tweak whatever the heck we want. On that note, I also love messing with timelines (be that throwing one character into the past with their current knowledge of situations or time loops or changing the timelines of events).
My current love, given that Infinity War is still traumatizing me, is taking elements from comics and fusing them with MCU characters/events. The comics I’m most interested in working with are The Mighty Thor (those featuring Jane Foster as Thor) because I think the War of Realms provides a lot of cool, interesting jumping-off points for storylines, the current Infinity Wars run (because Gamora going after the infinity gems is awesome, and Loki going after them is just bound to be a disaster), and Seige.
I also love pretty much anything that isn’t a human AU, so if you have any ideas, please bring them to me! I love hearing what other people want to create in this universe.
