What is it, Kurosaki-kun?

Muraki hired Saya to try and kill me, or something like that. She told me just because she doesn't seem to like taking orders, not because she's gives a damn about me. So I believe her.

Although I'm sure, if Muraki wants that, it's just to lure Tsuzuki out. Everything always goes back to Tsuzuki...which is why I didn't want to tell him this. He'll act rashly.

.... I must say, I'm not too surprised at this, but knowing that doctor for long enough can jade someone, I guess.

And that was smart on your part, Kurosaki-kun - anything concerning Muraki's attempts at him would only make him do something irrational, which just plays into the good doctor's hands.

And so? What do we do about it? If Saya won't do it, he'll probably try to find someone else to attack me.

As much as I hate her, I wonder if we can work out some kind of agreement.

I'll talk with her, Kurosaki-kun. Even if she attacked a co-worker, maybe she could be useful.

Fake death?

It would pull Muraki into the open.

Whose death exactly?

Mine.

If we struck a deal with her, it would be easy to fake my death, or at least near-death.

But Tsuzuki...

We'd have to make it highly convincing, of course - hopefully, she will prove useful in that aspect.

Tsuzuki poses a problem here... The only way it would work is if we let him know this plan, but once he knows Muraki is after one of us....

This all depends on if she's even willing to cooperate. This is honestly the last thing I want to do, considering I never want to see her face again, but...

Yeah, exactly. Tsuzuki might be good at covering up his own problems, but once we're involved I'm not sure he'll be able to keep his cool. But I don't know for sure.

Either way, we need a back-up plan in case this one doesn't work. It seems the safest bet to have one, considering Tsuzuki's difficult to control and we don't truly know of her alliances.

Saya doesn't have an alliance, not unless you have leverage. Money might be enough, but I'm not sure. Either way... It'd be better if you talked to her.

If I do it'll probably just turn into a real fight. And depending on her answer, we can work on a back-up plan.

Then it's settled. First I talk with Saya, then we figure out which route is the best to take. While I discuss with her, I hope you'll contemplate a second plan, Kurosaki-kun.

And make certain not to let Tsuzuki know anything.

I told Tsuzuki I wouldn't

...Yeah. I will.

It's for his own good.
