Call for help

So, our heat is out. Someone is coming to look at it this afternoon. However, if he is unable to fix it today, that puts us in an unheated house on a night when it is supposed to get down to 27°F, which pushes my borders for unsafe. I am looking for a place where simplewordsmith and I could crash tonight, if the heat is not fixed this afternoon. Obviously I won't know whether we need it until sometime late afternoon today, but offers would be appreciated. The loan of a space heater might also be a reasonable temporary solution if anyone has one they could offer.
