Does anyone want to supply Delirium with a fish balloon? Alternatively, does anyone know somewhere in walking distance where one could be purchased?

If you use a coat hanger instead of string, it doesn't have to be an actual balloon.

There's a Hallmark store and a Shaws that both sell balloons near my house, I can do a quick check before I head out tomorrow.
