*is probably in his lab, and has proximity alarms go off in the midst of a delicate experiment, ruining EVERYTHING* *works himself into a mild fury, then stalks out to yell at Ten* Theta! I'm going to have to recalibrate the whole thing and - *spots geeky young thing and stares*

Jax: *is eating a peanutbutter and crisps sandwich* *sees him and jumps up, swallowing the last bit of sandwich* *does some sort of...gesture that's not decided yet but is some sort of family-type gallifreyan greeting of respect* Hello, sir.

*narrows his eyes* Who are you? Get out of here. *sniffs, is distracted* Peanut butter? I hate peanut butter. Who brought peanut butter in here? Damn it Theta. *back to staring at Jax* Don't you know who I am?

Jax: *smiles!* Of course I do. *looks past him* Do you need help? I'm sure I can help you. *looks a bit wary after a moment* Is dad here?

Ten: *is in his own TARDIS which is somewhere parked in the Master's* *might be hiding purposefully* *needs time sometimes, too*

Jax: *pouts adorably* You haven't met me yet. But you...well, I think you and Dad are...planning me. I'm Jax. Um...Jax Tyler Borusa Sol Sigma Lungbarrow Oakdown. I can help.

*jerks to a stop, staring harder* So the experiment is successful? Fascinating. Are you a descendant of mine and Theta's, or is there any of Romana in you?

Jax: Genetically, I'm yours and Dad's. Though obviously I had enzymes and such passed on to me in utero.

*digs around in his pockets wildly for a moment, finding some kind of sonic device (DEFINITELY not a screwdriver.) and scanning him with it* Fascinating. And you're muddling the timeline. Have you not yet had any training, or are you as unintelligent as what I presume is your namesake?

Jax: *probably looks like he might cry* I-I know how to keep out of trouble. I'm not muddling the timeline any more than you and Dad do! *takes out a screwdriver and does it back at him just for spite then gives him a mildly challenging look* So are you going to let me help you or are you going to jury-rig it. I've always been better at mechanics than you or Dad.

*narrows his eyes at him for a moment, then pockets the sonic device* Very well. *gestures towards the lab* I just need it calibrated.

Jax: *looks pleased* Okay! *grabs his sandwich and heads off toward the lab which...he knows the way to, obviously*

*follows along, looking him over with clear fascination*

Jax: *wants to huuuuuug him but isn't so stupid* So, is Romana even pregnant yet?

I do not know. She hasn't contacted us with the results of her experiment. *gestures at a complicated machine that's meant to be an attempt at a loom, only highly modified and dangerous*
