TRIGGERS. Mentioning his ancestor, the first Brainiac, will make him stand-offish and cautious, while mentioning Superman will run the risk of him talking your ear off about his favourite hero. Otherwise he doesn't really get triggered by anything.
MEDICAL INFO. Brainy is a cybernetic lifeform (I prefer this over calling him a robot or an android due to how the show has robots around that get destroyed a lot are treated as different from Coluans. But in basics? He's a robot kid, so has no heartbeat, doesn't need to breathe, etc etc. He does maintain a warmer external temperature when possible in order to not be cold metal to others, but he's still very obviously cybernetic.
MENTAL INFO. Brainy's mind can be accessed by telepaths, so clearly he's not too different from biological lifeforms in that respect (possibly by design considering the Legion's telepath). While he's essentially a lot of super-complicated programs, his mind isn't too different from anyone else's, other than perhaps being better organised. His mental landscapes shown in the series tend to have strong computer themes, taking on a matrix-like effect with Interlac text or looking similar to the inside of a holographic chamber.
FOURTH-WALLING. Acceptable within reason and with a heads up first. Multiple realities are canon in DC, so he'd think of that as a possible explanation but I'd still like to be warned.
PHYSICAL CONTACT. He'll allow it within reason, largely dependant on how well he knows the person initiating. Characters like Lightning Lad and Superman are allowed casual, friendly contact without much comment, but strangers will likely find him moving away or outright rejecting them.
ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. YOU CAN TRY. But since Coluans are all androids centred around logic? Brainy likely only has very vague knowledge of romance based on books and observation of Legionnaires and isn't likely to get things as easily there. That, and he's highly unlikely to be properly equipped for anything sexual. There is no robo-peen.
INJURE/KILL. I'd prefer a warning and discussion first but Brainy can heal himself pretty well so I'm open to the idea!
DEVICE HACKING. Hahah no. Brainiac 5 is supposed to be ridiculously intelligent, so it probably isn't possible. If you think it should be, feel free to contact me about it. But at it stands, this is a blanket 'no' without it being discussed first.
THREADJACKING. Go for it!
ANYTHING ELSE. Brainy can be really, really in your face at times with the SMARTER THAN YOU schtick. He's not as bad as some versions of the character have been, but it can still be pretty grating so please, please let me know if you feel like it's going overboard or ruining any chance of CR. I'm always happy to try and figure out a workaround if I know there is a problem.
