My heart says tell you
because there may never
be another chance
and I have always said
listen to your heart.
So what do you do
when your heart
tells you to do
one thing
but your mind
is telling you
something completely
different
but it doesn't matter
because when you see him

You get weak in the knees
and short of
breath.
And you know that

because what if

And you think
that life is
but a dream
and your real body
is somewhere else entirely
but then why are my eyes
at the end of a ballpoint pen
and why do I feel what I feel
and see what I see
and write all this
if life is but a dream?
