warped tour....2 weeks later
okay it's friday morning and i am all excited because i get to work for fanscape, so they tell me to be there at 9 am. i live 2 hours away from st. pete so lucky me got to leave at 7am. finally when we get there we park a mile away so i won't get towed this time. but i am not going to let anything spoil my day, so i am still happy and excited. as me and gus are walking up to the gates he sees the victory tent so he is done walking. he gets to sit in the van now. jerk. so i walk like 5 min more by myself. i finally get there, but what is this, nobody is there? finally like 10 min later i find where the fanscape reps are meeting. now we just have to wait for erin...what a joke, but i found out she went through each application and picked us out by hand. makes me feel special. anyways, by time we got in there it was 10:30, gates open at 11, so we had a half hour to put the stuff out. the good thing was that gus's tent was 2 away from ours so i would get to see him all day! <3 wrong! i got sent to the ap tent with abby. at first we were like this is cool, this is okay. we only had to be there for half the day because they were going to switch us so we could go and walk around and stuff. so we are sitting there with aaron...he's actually nice. but we are sitting there selling the subscribtions to the magazine, and we are right in front of the hurley and volcom stage, later i would find out whoever played there would be the only bands i would see...but anyways so aaron told us he had to do some things and would be back, next thing we know we are like um....we have no change and everyone is asking us how to use their cut pass. i guess that we should have asked more questions, or payed attention at least. finally he comes back and was like motion city soundtrack is coming to sign, just watch there stuff and make sure that nobody steals it....so i am watching it when..........to be continued later, i have to go to work.
