I promise that I am way, way more excited than I look in that pic. :D (For some reason I always end up looking like I'm grimacing in photos, when I think I'm smiling...)
I also talked to my boss today, and she's actually willing to let me take a couple days of my week's vacation in October (instead of them all at once, this summer). So my faith in my boss's ability to be reasonable has been restored, kind of -- and it looks like it will be possible for me to both keep this job and go to the concert. Not that I'm not still going to quit before long, but now I may at least stick it out until after the show. Hopefully, if I keep searching and applying, I'll have found another job by then. I just want to make sure that I have another job lined up before I quit my current one, because I don't want to be unemployed and have to worry about whether or not I'll be able to pay my rent.
I also bought this extremely awesome poster recently. And this one. My room is really coming together with all the new wall decorations I've gotten lately. :) I need to get frames for some of them, since I don't really like using poster pins and wall putty anymore now that I'm no longer living in a college dorm.
