HIGHLAND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH’S NORTH BUILDING
(Northwest corner of Highland Avenue and Cherokee Road)
EXPECTED TO OPEN 42 ROOMS FOR EVACUEES FROM THE GULF COAST
WE NEED A MASSIVE VOLUNTEER EFFORT TO HELP GET THESE ROOMS READY
When: Saturday, September 10 from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday, September 11 beginning at 1:30 - 5:00pm
Monday, September 12: All day as able (call the office)
Tuesday, September 13: All day, as able (call the office)
Where: Highland North Second Floor (Northwest corner of Highland Avenue and Cherokee Road)
What: 42 small rooms need to be prepared
Scraping of walls, sweeping of floors, “junk” removal, carpet removal (some), Toilet/sink/bathtub scouring, linen sorting, window prep (functional AND safe)
Bring: Gloves, scrapers, brooms, mops, cleaning products, energy and all the love you have.
Other Needs: Hospitality Help for all volunteers
Donuts and coffee Saturday morning, lunch on Saturday
Any and all youth/adults to help watch smaller children
