SIGNIFICANT LOOK I ship it. But seriously, this has kind of been coming since the Tezuka-Atobe match when Atobe first realised the lengths Tezuka was prepared to go to for the win, for his team. He finally found someone who perhaps didn't have to work as hard to get where he is as Atobe did (my headcanon okay), but someone who was just as prepared to go to great lengths as Atobe was for the same thing: love of tennis. And at that time Fuji really didn't understand, but now maybe he does.
My goddamned headcanon, it is going to get messed up like this. IT ISN'T ABOUT TENNIS FUJI, IT'S ABOUT FINDING YOUR ONE BIG PASSION <3
