so busy-ness here + busy-ness there = lonliness all around. oh poo. aka, i haven't talked to anson in ages, but whatever, we'll get over it.
thursday i had brunchy goodness with my dear friend and all time favorite smarty pants, miss emily rose. she proceeded to tell me about her escapades with her boyfriend behind my house and i proceeded to gag over my stuffed french toast. delicious, really.
i went to the library to print out my app for ncc, and the librarian told me that i had over $2 on my account, so i didn't need to pay her. this confused me, because i don't usually make it a habit of dishing out money to the library unless i absolutely have to, and therefore, i do not remember giving the library said $2. so (a) i went to the library in a drunken stupor and gave them $2 to print something instead of just 5 cents, or (b) i have a secret admirer who, instead of sending me flowers and loveletters with letters cut out of a magazine, pays for my pages at the library, or (c) there's something wrong with the library computer system. whatever.
friday was relatively eventless, except for the part where aakash had his eighth grade dance. ha, cute. mom and i went to rasraj for dinner. fun.
yesterday i got my eyebrows done, and i was actually happy with the way they came out. and then we set off for the zillion hour trip to aarti and onkar's grad party/pooja in cherry hill, new jersey. aka philadelphia. yeah. so we car pooled with one of my dad's friends and his almost eight year old son, daniel.
backstory: daniel's dad is indian, but his mom is spanish. as in, lived her whole life in spain. as in her whole family since forever has been from spain. so anyway, daniel has spent a good chunk of his life in spain.
so daniel is the most talkative crazy insane child ever. lots of fun. when he found out that i was going to learn spanish, he took it upon himself to teach me some spanish words. my personal favorite was "gasolina" which, if you did not know, means "gasoline." and he told me to watch dora the explorer. great advice. i think i might go do that. such a cutie.
today we're going to a havan in westchester. aakash has a lot of work to do for his french final or something, so apparently mom said we would leave early. i'm not complaining. the sooner i get home the sooner i can finally talk to boyfriend.
