(no subject)
Today was perfect.
I honestly dont think it could have turned out any better than it had.
Here's the rundown:
Basically, Josh got here around 4, just like he said he would. I got ready and we were on the road around 4:30ish. Made it to A.C. and parked by 5:15, and we headed to the boardwalk to catch the sunrise, which was at 5:33 this morning. After that, we went to McDonalds and got breakfast, because no diners were open. ((yes...It was called a diner, was not open 24 hours. wtf?)) Then we ate, drove around for a bit, parked in our normal spot, and slept. haha. Yeah, we slept. In Josh's car, which is so uncomfortable to sleep in, by the way. But we were both tired so we kind of dozed off a bit. Then at like 9-10, we got our bathing suits on and headed to the beach, werent going to go into the water, we were going to just lay there, really. So yeah, tested the water, it was FREEZING cold. So we went back up to the beach and laid down. An hour later, I wake up to Josh snoring and my legs burning like a motherfucker. So we got up, went back to the car so Josh could get out of his bathing suit, and then we went and walked the boardwalk. Looked in some stores, had some laughs. He made fun of me because I'm scared that a seagull will shit on my head. So we walked around for an hour or so, played some arcade games, but only collected tickets, and then we went back to his car for another nap. lol. Yeah. So we wake up and go to get food. What do we want? Burger King, of course. So yeah. We had to walk all over AC to find a damned ATM when Wildwood has one every three feet. Get BK, then kinda chill for a while. We go back to the car at this point, because we're both too tired of walking and yeah. I was tired all day. So we take another nap and just kinda chill. Then it's 8:15 and we go out onto Josh's car and watch the sunset from the top of the parking garage. It was actually quite nice. Then we head back to the boards one last time. Josh went back to the arcade and played some more games, won me a stuffed polar bear. And then he went and bought me an outfit, which is actually very cute. lol Then we walked down to the beach, because it was finally dark, and we kinda just stood there and held each other, and looked at the stars for a bit. After that, it was homeward bound, and we had our cake and Joshua left.
Basically it. It was by far, one of the most amazing day's I've had in a LONG time, probably ever. I wish I had thought about bringing my camera. I'm kicking myself now for forgetting to charge and bring it. There were a lot of pic opps and yeah, it was such a beautiful day, sunrise, sunset, everything was just..perfect. And to top it off, we're driving home listening to the radio and what comes on? Our song. I swear to God, you guys, I burst out crying. lol Was the perfect end to a perfect day and a perfect way to show we're meant to be.
