A Reenactment of a wasted Sunday afternoon

Jun 13, 2004 16:25

ashes fall from the centre of the sky,
shining like broken angels, they rained upon us.
we welcomed them with spread out arms,
we welcomed them like snow.
the ground has been cleared of all the sin
that has walked upon it.

my tears are thick, combined with the dirty air
they flowed on your cheek as i planted one last kiss
on your cold blood stained lips.
I clutched whats left of this pendant, a broken metal heart
that was once a reminder of your face but now..
its a trigger, a heart shaped trigger that will bring me
close to you once again..
