Internet is still down. Today I went into the complex office to talk to the manager about it. When it came up that I'd left the techinican a messege on Friday detailing the problem and never heard back, the manager called first the technician, then his supervisor, and then the company owner, as each didn't answer their phones. She left them all angry / saucy messeges saying things like "this is not how we treat customers around here."
Despite the fact that I absolutely loathe not having internet access, it made me a bit uncomfortable that she was giving them such a haranguing on my account. I suppose some "customers" might feel more special for that kind of treatment, but it made me want to clam up and not say anything that was going to get the techs in any more trouble. d=
Anyway, so Sunday, my birthday, Kristy & I went to Rock It at The Grad. As usual it was good times.

So apparently there is a hideous new fashion trend: belts worn waist high. In my humble opinion, this "style" is a misconceived fashion abomination on a level with mullets, if not worse. Please, if one of your friends appears to be even considering participating in this depraved act of aesthetic barbarism, sock them in the neck. If god forbid you think you yourself might be about to consider securing your belt around your upper torso, I urge you to immediately present yourself to a trusted roommate or other nearby individual and beg that they immediately wallop some sense into you before you commit fashion thoughtcrime.
In less sordid news, Kristy put a bunch of new pictures up on Flickr. In addition to the usual cute kittens, my grandparentinlaws' dog Daisy is prominently featured.

Year Ago Last Wednesday: CoHo Shows - Roxie brings a psychobilly band to campus and I hang out and watch it, later (that same day) Amie Gutierrez brings an electronica show to campus and I hang out there with Roxie. Also aggie columnist & aeroflot hater Ian Watson is fired.
Year Ago Today: Birthday 2005 - "its a good thing I'm a frat boy now or I'd basically have no friends, basically." A year later I doubt even they'd show up if I scheduled something. (= Anyway, I haven't scheduled a birthday celebration yet because I haven't yet found a date for which more than one person other than Kristy and I would attend. But back to a year ago: Philip Neustrom got a digital SLR camera, making the rest of us obsolete, riots broke out in Uzbekistan as I had predicted, and Kristy and I get an awesome video of frolicking squirrels, which has probably since been lost forever in my computer crash. )=
PS: Φ A Δ pledglings are after every last point they can scrape up this last week. If any pledglings come across this they can get three points for mentioning this mention to me. They can also get five points for registering to vote in Davis, or for anyone else they get to register in Davis. Frankly, such civil-responsibility ought to be a requirement. (=
