Wow! It's been two years!!!
Hard to believe it's been two years since my last post. Where has the time gone? A lot has happened it the past couple years. I was looking through some old emails of mine and saw a bunch of posts i'd saved from Livejounal and, well, I felt I should post something. For any of you who might remember I had a bit part in a movie that I was impatiently waiting it's debut. It finally did in fact debut about two years ago May at the Seattle International Film Festival. The movie is called "Boy Culture" and was filmed in the Seattle area. My part is so small that if you blink you will literally miss me, but I am in it twice. I am about five minutes into the movie when the lead character reflects on his clientle. I am one of his so-called clients and my character's name is Breathmints (i am spitting out a breathmint in my scene). Even though it's only a couple seconds (seven whole frames of the movie...lol) my name (Ron Lake) is listed in the credits and it was my first real experiance on a movie set. I actually liked the movie, and though it may not be the likes of a Brokeback Mountain, it definately hit some nerves for me as far as the characters and the relationships they had between each other. It's available on DVD so if you haven't seen it, check it out, it's worth a viewing.
