It's a many splendid thing..........
Or is it splendor? I can't remember. So yeah back from So Cal. Funny thing: I flew into Ontario Intl. got my rental and got on I-10 headed due east. Had to stop at a store, like an AM PM or the likes. So what do I do? I take the Fontana exit and I'm wonderin what all the traffic is about. There's cops everywhere directing traffic and I thought there must be some huge accident somewhere. I made it to the nearest gas n grub and couldn't find a parking spot anywhere. And I was lookin at all the folks around me which was startin' to make me nervous cuz they all looked like they were from that movie Deliverance, you know the river folk? Well the answer soon came to me through further investigation. And I feel stupid cuz I of all people should've known better cuz im in the biz and all.
I drove right the fuck into the Nascar Racing festivities! What was supposed to be a quick on and off convenience food stop off turn out to be about a 30 to 40 minute ordeal. I always seem to do these things unknowingly and by the time I figure it out I'm already commited, cooked and done. Good night Irene! But I have something else to take my mind off of trivial things like that now..........and I'm quite excited.
