I don't know if anyone will find this, but I felt the need to make a quick post containing an explanation. About why there have been no updates, and why it might be a little while before there are any.
Last Saturday, days after finals finally ended at university (and my birthday), my father had a heart attack. I was home with him and recognized what was happening, so I phoned 911 right away -- thanks to a quick response and excellent care in the hospital, there was no permanent damage done to his heart. Unfortunately, it will be a while until he is back to being fully self-sufficient. This means that I won't have a lot of time to dedicate to writing (as I have been deemed his new chauffeur -- poor guy can't drive for a month -- which means I get to drive the brand-new truck; woohoo?), so updates will be slow.
Anyway, I just wanted to leave this on my journal so there was an explanation somewhere if anyone wants one :)
... and "I Want To Hold Your Hand" came up on my playlist the other day -- completely blindsided me. Like woah. It'll be a while until I can watch Grilled Cheesus without crying.
