Ever since Azimio's comments in the last chapter, I've wondered and worried about whether Kurt would watch that video. You made my feelings mirror his own: the agonizing back and forth, the need to know being overwhelmed by the fear of what one would see. It was painful and sad and I honestly didn't know what he would do right up until the moment he exed out of that screen and walked out of his room.

Really, it's amazing how much clearly your writing let's us feel what Kurt is feeling. There is the intense relief when Puck confirms that its clear Kurt is an unwilling participant in the video. The surge of love for Carol as she lies about ice cream in an attempt to offer comfort. The sadness when we first see Blaine admit to his feelings and fear that it's too late. I feel drained when I read this story, because I end up so invested in it.

While I could continue on forever, I'll just mention a couple more highlights for me.

Because if this has taught him anything, it’s that even people you think you can trust, who you think you know, can ruin you if they want to.
There's so, so much about this chapter that tugged at my heart, but that sentence--the idea that this could make Kurt doubt the few people he trusts unconditionally--just hurt.

And the Puck - Kurt interaction gets its own separate nod because it was so damn perfect. The idea of Puck sitting next to Kurt, beer in hand, offering solidarity without saying anything, without offering any bullshit platitudes, but just acknowledging the awfulness of the situation.... This scene was spectacular.

I've read this comment a few (read: too many) times since you left it (and it's been so long -- sorry I've procrastinated on replying), and it always makes me smile. I love every piece of feedback -- it makes my author heart go 'weee'. ♥

Thank you!
