Monday = second chances?

Well that was fun! Pictures may come later...if Nick gets himself organized! Silly boy.

Looking out my window I see my neighbor's garage. They started taking it apart a few days ago, but didn't take the whole thing down. Now they're re-building it and it looks kindof strange. There's a soft, creamy looking wood on the front of the garage, but the rest is untouched! I hope they paint it soon because if they don't I'm going to run over there with a can of paint and do it myself. There's the OCD in me. It's two colours! Gah! The main part of the garage is a creamy shade of gray (is that possible? I guess so...) and the front has bits of wood all over the place. It bothers me. I can see it every time I sit at my computer or walk through the room. rawr!

Spring is coming! I can feel it. While driving down the road I examine tree branches to watch for new budding leaves. Today I saw the first signs of new life! This means that spring is just around the corner!!!! March 21st to be specific. Have I mentioned that it's my favourite season? I love everything about it. The temperature is perfect - it rains all the time - and everything has this fresh, clean feeling about it. It's like the world gets a second chance. Winter gets washed away along with all the dirt and corruption that came with it, and life starts all over. It's a time of growth, spiritually as well as physically. I get a spiritual rush out of spring. Strange how a season can get me energized for my faith! Spring also means the school year is coming to an end, and the rest of my life is about to start. The thought is scary...but I'm so ready for it. I'm ready to leave this town and never look back! Yes, I'll miss many things, many people, many events, but that's part of life. I tell myself I'll keep in touch with all of my friends, but I know that probably won't happen. I'll probably only see one or two of them after May. Reality. *waves* Nice to meet you.

I should be getting ready for the choir trip right now. I need to run to the gas station and pick up some food or whatnot....yeah, I'm lazy. I didn't go to my class at the college today so that I could pack up for this afternoon. Turns out packing didn't take nearly as long as I'd thought (five minutes) so I have tons of free time! Well, maybe not tons. Actually, I have to go. Laterz gang.
