School Expels Girl for Having Gay Parents
Sep 23 7:05 AM US/Eastern

ONTARIO, Calif.

A 14-year-old student was expelled from a Christian school because her parents are lesbians, the school's superintendent said in a letter.

Shay Clark was expelled from Ontario Christian School on Thursday.

"Your family does not meet the policies of admission," Superintendent Leonard Stob wrote to Tina Clark, the girl's biological mother.

Stob wrote that school policy requires that at least one parent may not engage in practices "immoral or inconsistent with a positive Christian life style, such as cohabitating without marriage or in a homosexual relationship," The Los Angeles Times reported in Friday's edition.

Stob could not be reached for comment by the newspaper. Shay and her parents said they won't fight the ruling.

School administrators learned of the parents' relationship this week after Shay was reprimanded for talking to the crowd during a football game, Tina Clark said.

Clark and her partner have been together 22 years and have two other daughters, ages 9 and 19.

Wonderful. I mean really...this is spectacular. If you would like to write a letter to Mr. Leonard Stob to tell him what a wonderful leader, teacher, and role-model he is...you can go fuck yourself.

Otherwise... lstob@ocschools.org ....go ape shit...I did...

Dear Superintendent Stob,

Hi. My name is Greg Legorreta. A lot of people are going to be
criticizing you and your philosophy of teaching, Christianity, and
life in the next few weeks, months, and possibly years. I thought I'd
write you a letter to offer you my support.
I know what a difficult position you must have been in. It had
come to your attention that a student had lesbian parents. The
pressure must have been enormous: inaction could lead to anger from
the local Christian community, but action could lead to national
attention from the liberal media. I cannot explain to you how
fortunate I and the rest of the Christian community am to have a man
of your faith and devotion in a position of power.
I don't need to tell you about the subversive threat fourteen
year-old girls pose to our God-fearing community. A lot of Christians
in positions of power similar to your own waste their time organizing
food and clothing drives, raising the profile of issues affecting the
community, and educating the youth about how to grow into decent human
beings (this is, by far, the most egregious misuse of the time Our
Lord has allotted us). It is so refreshing to see a man with his
priorities so properly aligned.
It's times like these when you have to long for the Old Testament
days, when God took care of the faggots and their adolescent children
so us compassionate folk could keep to our good works. But I suppose
in the 21st century, it is about time we took up the torch and started
burning people at the stake ourselves. Your action is a brave and
necessary step in this direction. I have an idea for how this campaign
might go. I am merely a student, and don't have the type of power you
posses (but even if I did, I doubt I would be able to wield it as ably
as you do). My idea is we enlist the help of popular hip-hop artist
Diddy in our "Convert or Die" Campaign. Wait, "Convert or Die"
Crusade. Or better yet, "Convert or Die" Holocaust. Ya, I think that
last one will do just fine. See the beauty of the word "convert" is we
can apply it to anything we don't like in other people: Covert to
Christianity, Convert to Heterosexuality, Convert to Conservatism,
they all work! I don't want to get your hopes up, but if this campaign
goes according to plan, I know a certain Commander-in-Chief that
always has an eye out for men of your conviction.
I hope I have made you understand the degree to which I support your
decision and how much I respect your bravery. It is truly amazing that
almost 2000 years after the death of Our Savior, His Teachings have
not been distorted, misused, or just blatantly ignored. God Bless you,
and may you continue to walk in His Light.

Ever So Sincerely,
Greg Legorreta
