"I can't let you do that. I can't have you throw away your dreams just because I'm not joining you."
"But I-"
"You'll be fine."
A kiss on the cheek and it seemed as if he hadn't ever been a part of his life. If only it were that easy.

Wes looked at the tan disk after he shook it out of the bottle. Marshall rolled over on the bed to look at him.
"What in the world is that?"
"Garlic tablets. I use them everyday so I don't get sick on the road."
"Why are they so big?"
"I have to take the chewable kind; otherwise my body doesn't react to it."
"Oh." Marsh said as Wes popped the tablet into his mouth. "Now will you come to bed?"
"Yes." Wes moved towards Marshall as if to kiss him but Marsh pushed him away.
"What's wrong?" Wes stammered out.
"No way! We're not kissing tonight!"
"Why not?! What did I do?"
Marsh lifted Wes' hand which was still holding the bottle.
"Garlic breath."

"I just wish I should make you smile like he can." She said, leaving.
